About Your Trusted Accountant

Shanderia Montgomery is the founder and owner of One Chance Bookkeeping, LLC, a 100% virtual accounting firm serving business owners throughout the US. Originally from Humboldt, Tennessee, she moved to Nashville with her mother in 1996. After returning to Humboldt during high school, Shanderia relocated to the Nashville area following graduation to begin building her career and adult life.

With more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry, Shanderia served in several accounting roles before becoming an entrepreneur. In January 2019, she founded One Chance Bookkeeping to help business owners better understand their finances, remain compliant, and confidently know where their businesses stand.
​
Shanderia holds three accounting-related degrees, including a Master of Accountancy (MAcc). Her education, professional experience, and commitment to continued learning allow her to provide knowledgeable, dependable, and personalized accounting services in a convenient virtual environment.

The name “One Chance” holds a deeply personal meaning. It represents her son, Chance, and reflects Shanderia’s journey through the challenges she experienced while trying to conceive. To her, the name symbolizes faith, possibility, opportunity, and making the most of every chance you are given.
